We’ve recently completed a full plant room upgrade for our customers at Platform Housing in Louth.
The work took place at Elizabeth Court which is made up of 38 one and two bedroom flats occupied by social housing tenants. All of the flats consist of a lounge, en-suite shower room with level access shower and a kitchen fitted with electric oven and hob. They also have double glazing and under floor heating and are fitted with a ‘Lifeline Alarm system’ to summon help in an emergency. The flats are supported by a main plant room heating system which provides heating and hot water to all of the tenants.
This is the first project we’re carrying out for Platform Housing to upgrade their plant rooms which comes at a crucial time as we head into winter to ensure their tenants are kept warm.
Michelle Mills, our General Manager at Hales & Coultas would like to give a shout out to the team involved: “This work was carried out by our talented Commercial Engineer, Max with the support of Ricky who is one of our plumbers.
“It was a fantastic piece of work, and fills me with confidence that the rest of this contract will be completed to just as much of a high standard. Great work.”
We’re really enjoying working in partnership with another housing association, and Platform Housing have been great to work with so far. We provide their commercial servicing and repairs as well as carrying out their solid fuel servicing contract across the whole of Lincolnshire.
